Our responsibility is to maintain your water system. The source and producer of your water, Manchester Water Works, has posted this public notice:

CHLORINE CONVERSION/SYSTEM FLUSHING PROGRAM

On Monday, May 18, 2026, MWW initiated a system-wide hydrant flushing program in conjunction with a distribution system disinfectant conversion to free chlorine. This common preventative maintenance practice helps to remove nitrifying bacteria in the pipelines and improve overall water quality in the distribution system. With completion of the flushing program on June 26, 2026, MWW will convert back to its standard distribution disinfectant, chloramines, after the Independence Day holiday on Monday, July 6, 2026. If you have any questions about the conversion, please contact the MWW laboratory at (603) 792-2855.

We sent out a phone/text/email notification to customers in the conversion area. If you find that you are impacted but did not receive a notification, please call Pennichuck Customer Service to ensure that we have your most up-to-date contact information or fill out this form.
